Native localization and NB_Store

Jan 6, 2014 at 11:03 AM
Hello,

I have a site in 2 languages with DNN (6.2.4) native localization and NB Store. I had some trouble to get to a more or less stable situation, but now I'd like to improve the URLs and I saw this module.
Do you recommend to go ahead and try and, if so, what are the caveats and settings to adopt in this case, please? Reading the previous discussion about aliases and windows patches, I am a bit scared and confused ;-)

Thank you in advance for letting me know.

Hi,

The discussion about aliases and windows patches is not openurlrewiter specific. It's DNN standard stuff for DNN 7.1 and more.

So it not applied for you because you are in DNN 6.2.4.

You can find the changes to applied to the web.config to remove extension in dnn 6
https://openurlrewriter.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Configuration&referringTitle=Documentation

But you can work also with extensions.

Be sure to make a backup of your web.config.

To work well with nb_store, you need a unique SEOTitle (or title if seo title is empty) for each product.

I can give you some basic support here on codeplex.

I can also offer payed full installation service if you want.

Sacha
