Using Open Url Rewriter only for sitemap feature

Apr 23, 2014 at 11:28 AM
Hi! I'd like to know if I can install Open Url Rewriter module only for sitemap generator feature use and not for Url Rewriter. I want disable Url Rewrite but use sitemap generation for index all NBstore and Ventrian products on google crawrl with standard URLs.
Is it possible?
Thanks!

No,

Because then you have urls in the sitemap that not match the real urls of your site.

Thanks for fast response! Let me explain the reason for this question.
I use NBStore with Paypal IPN function. For it to work well with the latest version of DNN 7.2 I had to modify ReturnNotifyURL standard Paypal configuration in this way:
http://mywebsite/Checkout/tabid/mytabID/stg/4/Default.aspx
to
http://mywebsite/Checkout/stg/4
see this post: https://nbstore.codeplex.com/discussions/532459
Installing this URL Rewriter I fear a repeat of the problem again!
What do I know about this?

Hi,

The real solution is that nb_store generate the url passed to paypal according to the standard url generation method which generate an url depending on the installed url rewriter.

it have to using :

Globals.NavigateUrl(mytabid, "", "stg=4")

On DNN7.1 is possible use OpenUrlProvider only for sitemap generation you need only to make this simple modify in web.config:
1) change <add name="UrlRewrite" type="Satrabel.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule, Satrabel.OpenUrlRewriter" preCondition="managedHandler" /> to <add name="UrlRewrite" type="DotNetNuke.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" preCondition="managedHandler"/>
2) change <friendlyUrl defaultProvider="OpenFriendlyUrl"> to <friendlyUrl defaultProvider="DNNFriendlyUrl">

On DNN7.1 all generated url match the real urls and I've all NBProducts indexed!
