Rewriting or Redirect /groupid/xxx/ to the Friendly Url

Dec 8, 2013 at 9:25 PM
I have several pages that filter the group journal and member directory based on the groupid in the string. I'd like to remove the /groupid/number/ portion of the string, and don't know where to start. The Open Social Provider doesn't work (for me I think) or I don't know how to modify it.

Would you please direct me to step-by-step instructions on the best solution, or consider adding this request to the stored rules?

Hi,

The Open Social Provider is only for the DNN Core URl rewriter.

Open Url rewriter don't manage /groupid/number/ urls at this moment.

Can you give me some exemples with the whole url ?
To if it contains just alias + page name + /groupid/number/ ?

Yes, i can at it the the url rules.

Are you a programer ?
If yes, i can tell you how to add it.

We have tab (links) like this:
http://www.intelligentnetware.com/tabid/624/groupid/36/default.aspx that filter the modules on the url, and are rewritten as this : http://www.intelligentnetware.com/in/guest-community/groupid/36

Tab 624 is in this path http://www.intelligentnetware.com/in/guest-community/groupid/36

I'd like to remove the /groupid/36

Yes, I'm the 'programmer' although not C+ (yet)
