Rewriting Newsarticles Tags

Aug 18, 2014 at 1:57 PM
Sacha,
I'm trying to rewrite all my Tags.

So far it worked out fine, by using these settings:

Ruletype: Custom
Page --All--
Parameters: articleType=TagView&Tag=Print
Action: Rewrite
Url: print
Redirect destination:
Redirect Status: Aucun

Results in URL: domain/video

But know I have to rewrite the tag "Paper & Stone" but that doesn't get properly rewritten (because of the + in the Parameter I think)

Ruletype: Custom
Page --All--
Parameters: articleType=TagView&Tag=Paper & Stone
Action: Rewrite
Url: print
Redirect destination:
Redirect Status: Aucun

does not work...
This just results in URL: domain/articleType/TagView?Tag=Paper+%26+Stone

Can I use a wildcard? Like: articleType=TagView&Tag=Paper* ?

DNN 7.3.1
News Articles 0.9.11
OpenUrlRewriter 1.2.1
NewsArticles_OpenUrlRewriter 1.2.0

Thanks!

Sacha,
Can you please help.

When I create a custom rewrite rule with Parameter articleType=TagView&Tag=Paper{sep}Stone and desired url paper-stone
it gets written as domain/articleType/TagView?Tag=Paper+%26+Stone and not domain/paper-stone.

The other one articleType=TagView&Tag=Scissors and url scissors gets nicely written into domain/scissors.

What am I doing wrong?
