Redirecting from old html and php urls

Nov 17, 2015 at 12:59 PM
I am running DNN 8.2 and I am trying to redirect old .html and .php files to pages on the current site but I am not able to do it. I have read this post here:
https://openurlrewriter.codeplex.com/discussions/476810

but I don't have any runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests module in my web.config.

Can someone help?

Did you run into any issues running OpenUrlRewriter on version 8? I had errors - and post here:
https://openurlrewriter.codeplex.com/workitem/37

I'm checking with others to see what's up... Your feedback is appreciated on the issue.

Hi,

Ok for the initial question :

I don"t know DNN 8.2, is it DNN 7.2 maybe ?

You can add runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests to your web.config

<system.webServer>
 ....
<modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true" >
      ....

This have force all request going thru the asp.net pipeline.
Images, js, css also wich is not optimal.

I prefer to use the iis url rewriter module for redirecting html files
